October 2010

Matthew as "Adrian Peterson" (with an afro)

Adrian Peterson and Davy Crockett getting ready to go
Trick-or-Treating around the neighborhood.

Mark carved a pumpkin just for Michael in honor of Perry (Michael's backyard raccoon friend). How's that for the best Dad ever!!! Didn't he do a great job?

This year Mom had to get in on the action. ;) We're getting pretty lame about dressing up with them...last year, Mark threw on a rocker wig and this year I threw on an old witch's hat. But they were happy with that!

Michael tried the rock wall at the Two Rivers Church Fall Festival. He made it half way up. Not too bad for his size.

Michael getting candy at Farragut's Freaky Friday at the park. He sure does look happy, huh.

Matthew as "Justin Bieber". I had to straighten his hair. It's funny because all the kids knew who he was but a lot of adults asked him why he didn't dress up.

Michael as "Davy Crockett". His picture was in the Farragut Press newspaper for this outfit.

Working together on a Lego set.

The boys' first Jiffy Pop popcorn. They had fun cooking it.

It's always more fun to camp with friends.
Enjoying music and laughter around the campfire...good times for sure!

Hiking in the Smokies. Beautiful streams and scenery...great quality family time.

It was pretty cool to visit with a horse on the trail.

Matthew, the tree climber.

Check out the "gun show"!

Life is good!

Mamaw came to visit us in October. Michael taught her how to play Mario Bros. on the Wii. She was hooked!

Mamaw surprised Matthew and had lunch with him at school one day. Great memories! Wish Papaw could have come.

Matthew joined a travel baseball team for the Fall. He hit his first ball over the fence! But the best thing about it...Grandpa was there to see it!

Mark, Matthew and Grandpa enjoyed a day at the Par3 Course.
